The Most Beneficial Ways to use Spotify even using Freemium

Benefiting from using Spotify

  • Freemium on offer is Spotify's free tier. Even so Freemium is still phenomenal. Ads are actually pretty entertaining as the companies explicitly get reported as sponsoring your music listening and so on. And if you like a company then you feel all warm inside about this.
In other words, a relationship is getting built between advertisers and listeners. Of course, it should be pointed out that a greater benefit is if there are more and more pools of sponsors to target varying demographics.

  • Spotify notifications. If a musician or something new you follow is available recently, Spotify, e-mail messages you about it. I love this. I had a notification about The Beatles' discography only now getting added and Porches Live Spotify sessions. The Spotify Porches Live Sessions, by the way, helped to solidify my relationship with Porches and see a little bit of who Aaron Maine is. He's pretty random but funny.
  • Playlist creation. The true, authentic way to discover music, I forsee. As long as those who curate and post playlists online don't just post about popular music acts.
  • The Twitter-Spotify integration is good. More people could easily get exposed to music.
